As part of a visit to Burbank California for work I was able to stop by another customer of ours, Pork Pie Percussion! Met owner Bill Detamore, got a tour of the shop and he was gracious enough to spend time talking about the painting process, where he gets the drum shells from, and his 20+ years in business.

Buffalo drummers go for the Guinness Book of World Records!

Myself and hopefully 300 other drummers in Buffalo NY will be going for the Guinness Book of World Records for the most drummers gathered in one place playing the same song ("Louie, Louie") at the same time, and helping stamp out hunger in the process.

Buffalo Drum Outlet is sponsoring the event that will take place on Sunday November 2nd at the Millennium Hotel in Cheektowaga. All proceeds will go to the "Response to Love Center" , a soup kitchen on Buffalo's East Side along with "Mr. Holland's Opus", a national organization that provides schools with new and refurbished band and orchestra instruments.

Hoping for a great turnout and looking forward to participating. I'll definitely be posting some pictures afterward.
